YOUR PROFILE:

We are looking for an SS7 Implementation Engineer to join our team whose main responsibility is installation, implementation and post-installation support of all HORISEN SS7 Platforms and SS7 Products/Services to our customers.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science or software engineering-related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of GSM 2G/3G/4G networks and SMS technology
  • Knowledge of networking, mobile and telecom technologies
  • Good experience with SS7/SMS/MNP technologies
  • Good knowledge of SMPP/ Sigtran protocols
  • Experience with implementation and integration processes
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of 24/7 production environments
  • Experience with Linux (Debian/CentOS) system administration
  • Experience with monitoring systems Grafana, Icinga
  • Experience with SQL, Bash scripting
  • Documentation skills
  • Good Knowledge of AGILE principles
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira
  • Excellent English skills – both written and verbal

Considered as plus:

  • Knowledge of SIP/ENUM/REST HTTP API protocols
  • Knowledge of SQL/no-SQL databases
  • Knowledge of Diameter protocol

Role description:

  • Implementation of HORISEN SS7 Platforms to our Customers
  • Integration with new SCCP Carriers and Mobile Operators
  • Monitoring of Signalling link connections and SS7 Platforms health on daily basis
  • Working closely with our key customers to collect their requirements and transfer them to the Product team
  • Providing 2nd level of support for all SS7 Products/Services
  • Keeping all implementation documents up to date (checklist, implementation & troubleshooting guidelines)
  • Constantly participating in the implementation process improving
